Eixample is a district of Barcelona, located between the old city and other popular districts, such as Sants and Gràcia. Eixample is home to some of Barcelona most famous architectures, such as Casa Batllò or Sagrada Familia.

Important streets include Passeig de Gràcia which connects Plaça Catalanua to the cosy neighbourhood of Gràcia, Gran Via, Aragó, and Passeig de Sant Joan.

The district of Eixample is diverse in terms of shopping, restaurants and nightlife. It is one of the most dynamic and comfortable areas to live in Barcelona, largely because it is very safe, and because you can always find what you need within walking distance, whether it's a 24hour supermarket, cash dispenser, metro or bus stop. Transport to and from the area is good.
